The 2011 summit will be held at the University of Houston on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13. Registration is now open via Event Brite. Please register today to take advantage of special offers.

This year we are calling for proposals from the community to help construct the program.

Go to our web site  for a complete list of instructions and to download a proposal form in a PDF format or in a Word format.

We would like to cover the topics listed below in 90 minute concurrent sessions, but if you have additional ideas for a concurrent session, please feel free to submit a proposal. Proposals for poster sessions are also welcome.

We invite interested parties in higher education to discuss what works and what does not work in regards to codifying inclusion of "gender identity and expression" into institutional policy. The summit serves to find means to this end through discussion of divergent and respective strategies in regard to the inevitable barriers that always arise.
